New Faculty Development Program

The PAEA Faculty Development Institute (FDI) offers a new, convenient, and affordable way to continue providing an ongoing mechanism for faculty development for PA program faculty: The Education Scholar.

The Education Scholar series offers member access to a quality series of faculty enrichment modules at a reasonable price. Each of the seven modules is self-paced, so one can schedule their learning time around other faculty responsibilities. Once enrolled, each person will have an entire year to work with the modules.

Web-based Physician Assistant Clinical Knowledge Rating and Assessment Tool

Features of ePackrat

• e-PACKRAT will provide faster results to programs and their students.Scores will be available within 5 business days.
• The exam's new electronic format will better prepare students to take the certification exam by simulating the computer format and conditions that they will encounter when taking their boards.
• Test scores are accessible on the Web and downloadable into data files for programs' use and analysis.
• Test security is assured through technology and local protocols.

The exam will continue to feature 225 questions and follow the current NCCPA blueprint. As in the past, it will provide relevant and comprehensive content with the blueprint content areas. The exam will also continue to be available in the paper format.
