PAEA Has Many Leadership Opportunities
PAEA is searching for a chair to guide the important work of the new Ethics Committee, which will be responsible for educating member programs about, and upholding, the PAEA Code of Ethics. Application deadline is May 18. PAEA also invites PA educators with experience as accreditation site visitors to submit applications for nomination to a position as commissioner on the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Deadline to apply is also May 18.
The Assessment Institute is seeking members for its recently created Item Writing Subcommittees. Deadline for applications is June 11.
Nominations Open for PAEA Board Positions
Four positions on the PAEA Board of Directors are open for 2013: president elect, secretary/treasurer, and two director at large. The membership will vote to fill these positions at the 2012 PAEA Annual Education Forum in Seattle, Washington, November 7–11. Nominations are invited through June 30.
