Journal of Physician Assistant Education
The Journal of Physician Assistant
Education is the Association's official
journal. This peer-reviewed quarterly
publication was renamed in 2006, after
eight years of publication as
Perspective on Physician Assistant
Education.
JPAE is
dedicated to advancing PA education by
publishing scholarly manuscripts germane to PA
educators and by providing a forum for the
sharing of ideas and innovations that will
enhance the education of PA students.
Submissions
Submissions are the lifeblood of any journal, and PAEA faculty members and others with an interest in PA education are encouraged to submit manuscripts for publication. Manuscripts intended for peer review (ie. research and special articles) must be submitted through the journal's eJournalPress Web portal at http://jpae.msubmit.net/. All other articles, ie, those intended for feature sections, should be submitted directly to the appropriate feature editor (see below). Unsolicited editorials are discouraged. If you have questions about submission, please contact JPAE Managing Editor Jeanette Smith at jsmith@PAEAonline.org; (703) 548-5538, ext. 304.
All manuscripts should conform to the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals and to the requirements of the American Medical Association Manual of Style, 10th ed. Samples of reference formats can also be found on the National Library of Medicine Web site.
