The PAEA Annual Report on Physician Assistant Educational Programs in the United States has been published each year since 1984. The reports have consistently collected similar data and have represented responses from more than 85% of the PA programs, including information on a variety of program activities including institutional sponsorship, financial support, program personnel, characteristics of applicants and students enrolled, curriculum, student attrition, and graduate employment characteristics. Data are also presented on program administration and budgets; faculty characteristics, including salary differences; and trends among applicants, enrollees, and graduating students.
