PAEA Data and Research
Over the past two to three years, the
Association has committed itself to greatly
enhancing its data and research
capacities. In 2006 the board of
directors established the PAEA Data and
Research Workgroup, in effect until 2008, to
review the Association's data collection
processes and benchmarking materials from other
organizations and develop a research
agenda. In April 2007 Mei Liang became the
Association's first full-time research staffer.
The Association has also developed a web-based
portal to facilitate completion of surveys by
member programs and to centralize data storage.
The PAEA Research Institute assumed
responsibility in 2009 for the development of
additional surveys and a revised Annual
Report, with the assistance of the
newly-established Data and Research
Subcommittee.
