Government Relations Program
PAEA’s government relations program advocates for and supports policies that will ensure a physician assistant workforce sufficient to meet the nation's current and projected health care needs and seeks to ensure that PA programs have greater inclusion in federal programs and receive increased federal funding. The Association seeks to expand PA education opportunities by educating Congress, federal policymakers, and strategic partners and by promoting greater interaction between federal policymakers and PA program faculty and students. PAEA actively seeks to build strategic partnerships with other associations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to advance PA education and promote quality health care for all.
