Members of Clinical Education Committee Selected

Jack Percelay, MD, MPH, Named Chair

The PAEA Board of Directors has approved the appointments for PAEA’s new Clinical Education Committee (CEC). Jack Percelay, a pediatric hospitalist and faculty member at the Pace University Lenox Hill Hospital PA Program, has been named as the chair; other members of the committee are:

  • Gerald Glavaz, MPAS, PA-C, Loma Linda University
  • Rosana Gonzalez-Colaso, PharmD, MPH, Yale University
  • Carol Gorney, MPAS, PA-C, University of Iowa
  • Amanda Moloney Johns, MPAS, PA-C, University of Utah
  • Thomas Parish, DHSc, PA-C, Eastern Virginia Medical School
  • Jacqueline Sivahop, MS, PA-C, University of Colorado Denver

The CEC is a new standing committee charged with providing oversight of the Association's activities related to the clinical phase of entry-level PA education. Some of the key areas that the committee will address include preceptor recruitment and development, site development, international rotations, and assessment and evaluation. Michel Statler, PAEA's new director of professional education, will be the staff liaison.
