Business Meeting,
Visits to Capitol Hill, and Retreat Set
Ambitious Agenda
The PAEA Board of Directors
met in Alexandria last week for a daylong
retreat with staff, visits to representatives
on Capitol Hill, and a formal board meeting.
Board action included approval of a new
clinical education committee, the Project
Access minority recruitment program, and
enforcement of the Association’s bylaws
requirement that all member programs provide
data for the annual survey. More>

Directory by March 26
Program
directors are asked to update their program
descriptions in the PAEA PA Programs
Directory by March 26. Program directors
must either update their programs’ entries or
designate someone else on staff to make the

HRSA Releases ARRA Grant Guidance — March 24
Deadline to Apply
HRSA has
released the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act of 2009 (ARRA) Grant Guidance for Training
in Primary Care Medicine and Dentistry, which
includes the ARRA PA training grants. Other

Workshop and Seeks Site Visitors
The ARC-PA is offering its second
annual “
Accreditation
and You” workshop in St. Louis,
Missouri, from June 24–26, to be followed
immediately by its next new

visitor workshop from June 26–27.

PAEA has made fashion news!

Extended to March 31
PAEA has
extended the deadline to
March
31 for members to send their
photos, including shots of clinical rotations,
special events, and classroom teaching, for use
on the PAEA website.
