FEDERATION OF ASSOCIATIONS OF SCHOOLS OF THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS (FASHP)

The Federation of Associations of Schools of the Health Professions (FASHP) was created in 1968 as a forum for representatives from institutions of health professions education. FASHP addresses education's role in organizational patterns of health care; encourages effective collaboration among the professions in education and practice; prepares health professions education for the future; and serves as liaison with other organizations sharing an interest in health professions education. FASHP seeks to enhance the health of the nation through health professions education and comprises 13 associations representing a wide variety of health professions schools.
