PROGRAM DIRECTOR The College of Health Sciences at Midwestern University (MWU) invites applications for the administrative position of program director of the physician assistant program– Downers Grove Campus. The successful candidate must be a physician assistant or a physician. If a physician assistant, the candidate must possess a master’s degree, be licensed or license eligible in Illinois, and be certified. Preferred candidates will possess or be near completion of a post-professional doctorate degree. If a physician, the candidate must be licensed or be eligible to hold a license as an allopathic or osteopathic physician in Illinois and must be certified by an ABMS- or AOA-approved specialty board. The successful candidate must have at least five years of clinical and academic experience, have a record of scholarly activity, demonstrate good leadership, have excellent communication skills, and have the vision to lead the physician assistant program into the future. FACULTY POSITIONS The Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Idaho State University (ISU) is seeking two physician assistant faculty members for its program expansion to Boise, Idaho. The positions are full-time, tenure or clinical track, and include the university’s benefit package. One day per week is allowed for clinical practice, with earnings kept by the faculty member. The ISU PA program began in 1995 and will graduate its 10th class in 2007. The program became a master’s level program in 2003.
