Minimal qualifications include graduation from an accredited PA program, current NCCPA certification with current licensure (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania, a minimum of two years PA clinical experience, and excellent oral, written, organizational, and computer skills. Preference is given to candidates with a master’s or doctoral degree and previous teaching and administrative skills, but all interested individuals are encouraged to apply. Our state-of-the art academic, research, and student facilities are located on a beautifully landscaped campus in Elkins Park, a suburb outside the city of Philadelphia. The PA program at PCO has received its ARC-PA provisional accreditation. The PA program will be housed within a new College of Health Professions. An application to the Department of Education of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania for a name and status change from PCO to the Pennsylvania University of the Health Sciences is in progress. The first class is expected to matriculate in fall 2007. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications. A generous benefits package is offered.
