Goal The PA graduate will be able to assist individuals with chemical addictions to receive appropriate treatment interventions. Objective When given a series of alcoholic patient presentations on a written examination, the student will be able to accurately classify which stage of alcohol withdrawal is present. Domain: Cognitive Response: Comprehension Objective Upon presentation of a standardized patient with an occult heroin addiction, the student will identify cues indicating the addiction and appropriately counsel the patient for referral, as evaluated by a PA faculty member.
