Call for PACKRAT Test Writing Subcommittee Members

The Association is seeking applications for the Physician Assistant Clinical Knowledge Rating and Assessment Tool (PACKRAT) Test Writing Subcommittee. PACKRAT was designed and developed as a tool to assess clinical knowledge and to identify areas of strength and weakness for students.  

Applicants for these positions should have PA educational and clinical experience and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. There is no on-site meeting attendance requirement and funding is not available.

Members must:
  • Construct and submit 10-15 questions annually, complete with answers, explanations, and references
  • Review test item questions (as assigned) prior to the PACKRAT Committee’s annual meeting in conjunction with other committee members
  • Communicate through e-mail and conference calls with other committee and subcommittee members as needed
