PAEA Governance Committee: Call for Member

The Association is seeking applications for a vacant position on its Governance Committee. The committee will meet once annually at the PAEA Annual Education Forum, as well as once each year at the PAEA national office. Conference calls will also be held as needed.

Applicants must have five or more years' experience in a PA educational setting. A strong interest in governance, policies, and procedures is required; experience in governance is preferred. Previous PAEA committee service is desirable, but not required.

Terms

  • Terms will begin on January 1, 2008, and end on December 31, 2009.
  • All terms are renewable once, based upon recommendation of the committee chair in consultation with the board of directors.

Funding

  • Meetings held in conjunction with the PAEA Annual Education Forum and AAPA Annual Conference are not funded.
  • Meetings held outside of the annual meetings are funded for travel, lodging, and meals.
