PROGRAM DIRECTOR The Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program (CHA/PA program) invites applications for program director with a full-time faculty position in the Department of Pediatrics. This three-year academic program has an outstanding reputation including award winning curricula in problem-based learning, disabilities, and evidence-based medicine. Duties will include but will not be limited to responsibility for the organization, administration, continuous review and analysis of, planning for, and ongoing development of the program. FACULTY POSITION Mercy College Graduate Program in Physician Assistant Studies is accepting applications for a full-time faculty position. The college’s program is a dual degree program: students enter with at least 90 credits and receive BS and MS degrees upon completion. The program employs the biopsychosocial model of medical training in which behavioral medicine and public health are emphasized. This position is half didactic and half clinical. The faculty member will teach two-three classes per year (three semesters) and work with the present clinical coordinator to facilitate clinical rotations and teach clinical students. The position is full time for 12 months. Tenure is an option for qualified faculty. The PA program is a part of the Division of Health Professions, which includes graduate programs in PT, OT, nursing, and communication disorders. Faculty duties include teaching, coordinating or chairing at least one course, advising students, clinical site visits, admissions work, and scholarly activity.
