AAPA Announces Special Student Membership Offer
AAPA would like faculty to know that when their students join in October and November, they will receive a free copy of the best-selling Maxwell Quick Medical Reference. This pocket guide, a must-have clinical tool for PA students, includes essential information used in everyday medical practice. Its six color-coded sections cover procedural protocols, including ACLS adult emergency cardiac care, normal lab values and fluid data, assorted rulers, and more — a publication that is a valuable tool in the classroom and during student rotations.

Supplies of the reference are limited, so faculty are urged to encourage their students to join and take advantage of this special offer before it ends on November 30. Students may join online at http://www.aapa.org/memship-cat.html or call (703) 836-2272, ext. 3350.

Options Offered by the AAPA for PA Programs to Publicize Exam Review Courses
The PA programs that offer exam review courses may list them on the AAPA Web site at no charge, on the following URLs:
http://www.aapa.org/cme/approvedcat1.html and http://www.aapa.org/cme/review-cert.html. Programs can also list these options by completing an online form at http://www.aapa.org/cme/AddToCalendar.html. Program personnel with questions may contact Adrienne Harris, director, member & CME services, at AAPA: aharris@aapa.org or (703) 836-2272, ext. 3404.
