Call for CASPA Advisory Committee Chair

The Association is seeking applications for the position of chair of its CASPA Advisory Committee. The chair oversees a six-member advisory committee that provides direction for CASPA’s general operation and works closely with the CASPA vendor and PAEA staff, who manage the service. The chair, working with the committee, provides oversight for the implementation of CASPA’s strategic plan, business plan, and policies and procedures. The CASPA committee presents at the PAEA Annual Education Forum and is very active between meetings. Members should have the flexibility to participate regularly in conference calls, e-mail exchanges, and group document creation, as well as to meet a couple of times during the year in various locations, in addition to the regularly scheduled meetings held in conjunction with the PAEA Annual Education Forum.

Applicants should have extensive experience in the area of admissions, as well as the time, passion, and other qualifications to lead this hardworking and dedicated group of individuals. Additionally, applicants should be able to

  • Maintain collaborative relationships with outside vendors to accomplish CASPA’s goals
  • Lead and communicate with skill and diplomacy
  • Delegate, facilitate, and complete projects, meet deadlines, organize, and multitask
  • Approach issues in creative, innovative ways

Funding

  • All in-person CASPA Advisory Committee meetings (including those held in conjunction with the PAEA Annual Education Forum) are funded for travel, lodging, and meals.
