PAEA Seeks Candidates to Serve as Commissioners to the ARC-PAPAEA invites PA educators with experience in accreditation issues to submit applications for a position as one of the Association’s three elected commissioners on the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The new representative will succeed Patricia Dieter, whose term expires in December of this year, and will join Gloria Stewart from the Marietta College PA Program in Ohio and Suzanne York from the University of Detroit Mercy PA Program in Michigan. The new commissioner will be elected by the ARC-PA from the slate of candidates submitted by PAEA. ARC-PA commissioners are elected for an initial three-year term and may be reelected for a second three-year term. If you are interested, please see more detailed information on this position. The term is effective January 1, 2007, and the first meeting will be from March 8-10, 2007, in San Diego, California. New commissioners are expected to attend an orientation that will occur late Thursday afternoon on March 8.
