Exhibitors Needed at PAEA Annual Education Forum

APTR Launches Revised Clinical Prevention and Population Health Curriculum Framework
The Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) has launched the Clinical Prevention and Population Health Curriculum Framework revised by the Healthy People (HP) Curriculum Task Force, of which PAEA is a participating association. This framework is the first structured and comprehensive curriculum agenda for integrating clinical prevention and population health into the education of students across the health professions disciplines. The
academic community is encouraged to apply this framework to curriculum design, evaluation, and accreditation efforts. Please see the HP Task Force page at http://www.aptrweb.org/about/taskforce.html. APTR convenes the
HP Curriculum Task Force to promote the mission of the HP 2010 objective of increasing
health promotion and disease prevention content in health professional education.
Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Issues Call for Papers
The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) has issued a call for papers for its 2010 Predoctoral Education Conference, entitled Medical Education 2020: Developing a Vision for the Next Decade. The conference will be held in Jacksonville, Florida, January 28–31. PAs are invited to submit papers, attend the conference, and present. Submissions must be entered online at www.stfm.org/predoc no later than June 15.
