CASPA Advisory Committee:
Call for Candidate Extended

The Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) Advisory Committee is seeking a new member. CASPA is a service of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA). The committee provides oversight for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Association’s central application service, directs communication about and evaluation of the service, and manages its products and services. The committee presents at PAEA’s Annual Education Forum and is very active between meetings. Members should have the flexibility to participate regularly in conference calls, e-mail exchanges, and group document creation.

Applicants to the advisory committee should also have extensive experience in the area of admissions, as well as the time and passion to join this hardworking and dedicated group of individuals.

Funding

  • All in-person CASPA Advisory Committee meetings (including those held in conjunction with the PAEA Annual Education Forum and Semiannual Meeting) are funded for travel, lodging, and meals. Meetings and the corresponding details will be announced in advance to committee members.

Terms

  • Terms for all positions are for two years with the possibility of reappointment for one additional term, based upon the recommendation of the committee chair to the PAEA Board of Directors.
