Watch for Education Forum Call for Proposals
The call for proposals for the 2007 PAEA Annual Education Forum, October 24-28 in Tucson, Arizona, will be available on the PAEA Web site in May. Please watch for the guidelines and consider submitting a proposal for this year's forum.
Newly Accredited PA Programs
Two PA programs were provisionally accredited by the ARC-PA in March 2007: Nova Southeastern University–Orlando, Florida, and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Anthony Dyda, PA-C, DHSc, is chair and director of the Orlando program; and George Bottomley, DVM, PA-C, is director of the PCO program. PAEA is pleased to welcome both as its newest members.
APPAP Announces Linda Brandt Research Award for PA Postgraduate Training
The Association of Postgraduate Physician Assistant Programs (APPAP) has announced a research award for research on PA postgraduate training programs. The award is named in honor of Linda Brandt, one of the founding members of APPAP, who died in 2004. Please see the eligibility and submission guidelines.
Recent PAEA Appointments

Chairs serve for three years and committee members for two; members of the subcommittees are not designated for specific terms, but are rotated periodically.
