Committee on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity Seeks New Members

APAP is seeking 2 new members for the Committee on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity. This committee works throughout the year discussing, researching, and making related recommendations to the board with regard to issues of diversity in Physician Assistant education.

One term of appointment for 2 years ending in October 2006.
One term of appointment for 3 years ending in October of 2007.

Both committee positions have the possibility of reappointment. Applicants to the Committee on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity should have a strong interest in diversity and cultural competency with regard to their implications on PA education. Willingness to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills are desired. The committee meets twice annually: at the APAP Semiannual Meeting and at the Annual Education Forum. Phone conference calls are scheduled as needed.
