New PA Foundation Video Available to Programs

The Physician Assistant Foundation invites you to meet PAs serving their communities in a new video produced to share the foundation’s success stories. Learn about eight extraordinary projects funded by the PA Foundation, including a student group running a healthy foot clinic in Washington, D.C., a group in Tennessee promoting healthy food choices for elementary students, and a clinic in Utah making sure that migrant workers receive medical treatment.

Each year, the PA Foundation provides over $200,000 in grants, awards, and scholarships to help fulfill the goals and dreams of individual PAs and to advance the PA profession.

This video is particularly helpful for use during PA classes, particularly in a professional issues class.

If you are interested in receiving a DVD or videotape, please contact Francesca Rusk at frusk@aapa.org or 703/836-2272, ext. 3114.
