Program Director — Southwest Missouri State University Faculty Position — Barry University Applications are invited for a 12-month, tenure-track position as Department Head/Program Director (Rank based on qualifications) in an accredited ARC-PA program at Southwest Missouri State University beginning January 1, 2004. Duties: Overall departmental organization and administration, including curricular and fiscal management; ongoing program development, evaluation and accreditation; teaching; admissions, student advisement and evaluation; supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff; general outreach activities; working with the Dean and college administrative team to advance the concerns and resources of the department, college and university. Required qualifications: PA with current NCCPA certification; Master's degree; minimum of 3 years clinical experience; minimum of 3 years full-time experience in PA education, including accreditation experience; strong interpersonal skills; record of scholarly publications. Preferred qualifications: Doctoral degree (required for appointment to Associate Professor rank); demonstrated skill in administration, teaching and curriculum development; ability to work with internal and external constituencies; successful grant writing experience.
