PACKRAT
- Test Item Writers The test item-writing committee for the Physician Assistant Clinical Knowledge Rating and Assessment Tool (PACKRAT) is seeking new members to help develop the next version of the exam. PACKRAT was designed and developed as a tool to assess clinical knowledge and to identify areas of strength and weakness for students. It is not intended for the purpose of determining academic achievement or progress through a PA program. This exam is available to programs only and is not sold on an individual basis. Test item writers are needed to develop test questions annually. Item writers should have clinical experience (primary care is desirable, pharmacology is needed). All test writers will have an ongoing responsibility for submitting, constructing, reviewing questions for this exam, and possibly attending a committee meeting once a year.
