APAP Education Forum
The Education Forum will provide an excellent opportunity for discussion of today’s hot topics in education, as well as several days of educational programming planned specifically for PA faculty, the traditional awards banquet, and APAPs Ninth Annual Exhibition and Reception. New faculty members are particularly encouraged to attend and take advantage of APAPs orientation process and the opportunity to network with colleagues. A little country or a little history, the District, located on 2nd Avenue, blends the best of both worlds. Check out the live entertainment at the Bluebird Cafe or Tootsies Orchid Lounge where many legendary songwriters got their start. With its restaurants of every ethnicity and atmosphere, the District is a treat for your palette as well as for your ears. Minutes away from Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, the District is a great diversion. Other nearby attractions include Music Row, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Parthenon, the home of President Andrew Jackson, Cheekwood Museum of Art and Botanical Gardens, Opry Mills, General Jackson Showboat, Belle Meade Plantation, the Bicentennial Mall State Park, Fort Nashborough, and the Tennessee State Capitol. Registration and other materials will be mailed to all program faculty and staff in mid-June. For more information on Nashville and its many wonderful sights, please go to www.nashvillecvb.com. For information on the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, go to http://www.loewshotels.com/hotels/nashville/default.asp. We look forward to seeing you in November!
