The position carries the rank of associate professor but is not a tenure track position. Methodist College is a private liberal arts Christian institution located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This is a full-time (12-month) tenure-track position. Responsibilities include instruction in clinical courses within the Program, instruction in case and problem-based learning, visitation and evaluation of students as they are enrolled at clinical sites, supervision of clinical rotations, student advising, development of new clinical sites throughout Michigan, and the development of two potential international opportunities for clinical training. The qualified individual for this position will have graduated from an ARC-PA or CAAHEP accredited Physician Assistant Studies Program, possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field, be current in NCCPA certification, and possess (or be eligible for) a current license to practice in Michigan as a physician assistant. Clinical experience is required and continuing clinical practice for a minimum of one day per week is expected.
