It’s Time to Start Preparing for Graduation and the PANCE Exam

With graduation approaching, now is the time to begin thinking about and preparing for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE). Successfully passing this exam allows you to practice as a PA and provide patient services. The exam is administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), which strongly recommends that you register for the exam before you graduate. Visit the NCCPA Web site at www.nccpa.net for more information about the PANCE.

There is no better way to prepare for the PANCE certification exam than with A Comprehensive Review for the Certification and Recertification Examinations, the only comprehensive review book developed and endorsed both by AAPA and PAEA. This invaluable resource will reinforce your knowledge and build your confidence. It features

  • A 300-question pretest based on the NCCPA blueprint, followed by answers and explanations
  • Fourteen chapters of detailed study material, including a new chapter on infectious disease
  • A 300-question post-test CD-ROM to help you identify your specific areas of strength and weakness

AAPA student members receive this publication at the special discounted price of $42. Nonmembers may purchase this publication for $50. To purchase today, visit the AAPA store at www.aapa.org/aapastore and click on the New Products section, or call 703/787-8044.
