Faculty Development Institute Advisory Committee
Seeks Two New Members

APAP is seeking two new members to join the Faculty Development Institute (FDI) Advisory Committee. The FDI is the national clearinghouse for APAP faculty development resources. Its mission is to promote the professional development of PA program faculty and staff through the enrichment of knowledge and skills in the areas of teaching, management, leadership, and education/health policy.

The term of appointment for these positions will be approximately two years, ending in 2007. Members will be selected to represent a broad spectrum of PA faculty, from junior faculty with less than two years’ experience to senior faculty with eight or more years’ experience. Advisory committee applicants should have previous faculty development experience and strong communication and interpersonal skills. The committee meets regularly via conference calls and at both the APAP Semiannual Meeting and Education Forum.
