APAP 2004 Semiannual Meeting

Las Vegas, Nevada
June 1–2, 2004

APAP’s 2004 Semiannual Meeting will be held June 1–2, 2004, in conjunction with AAPA’s 32nd Annual Conference. The Semiannual Meeting will provide an excellent forum for current issues in PA education, faculty development, and networking opportunities for all faculty. An excellent resource for faculty, preceptors, and those considering these roles, as well as anyone interested in educational issues affecting the profession, APAP sessions (with the exception of meal functions) are open to all registrants of AAPA’s Annual Conference at no additional cost. Two faculty development workshops, each two days long, will precede the official opening of the meeting.

Semiannual Meeting Registration

APAP Workshops, Roundtables, Pearls, and
Panel Presentations

The advance registration deadline for the APAP’s Semiannual Meeting is April 23. Registration is being handled by the AAPA, and Advance Registration booklets were mailed in December 2003.


Conference Hotel and Housing

The Las Vegas Hilton will serve as the conference headquarters hotel. There will be no APAP hotel headquarters, since most of the APAP events will be held in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Housing facilities are located around the convention center and must be made through Navigant International. The Hotel Reservation Request Form is available in the AAPA Advance Registration booklet. Busing to the conference center will be provided from participating conference hotels listed in the AAPA Advance Registration booklet. Only those attendees booking their hotel reservations through AAPA’s official housing vendor, Navigant International South Central, are eligible to ride the AAPA shuttle buses. Navigant’s phone number is 866/805-6918 or 713/ 369-1241. Although hotel reservations many not be made by phone, Navigant representatives can help with questions.
