CME Credit to be Awarded for Participation in Select APAP Semiannual Meeting Workshops

APAP is pleased to announce that is has been awarded a maximum of eight hours of Professional Category I (Preapproved) CME credit by the AAPA for eight workshops or roundtables planned as part of the APAP Semiannual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, from May 21-23. Each of the eight workshops listed below is approved for one hour of CME credit.

  • Palm Computing in Clinical Medical Education

Space Release Forms for Alumni Events Available on AAPA Web Site

Space release forms are available on-line to hold alumni events scheduled for APAP’s May Semiannual Meeting being held in conjunction with the AAPA’s Annual Meeting. To access the forms, go www.aapa.org, click on the conference logo, and choose “forms” from the left column. Please submit as directed to the AAPA Meetings Division.

NHSC Scholarships for PA Students

Program directors and admissions personnel may be interested in scholarship information from the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) available to PA students. Detailed information is available at http://bhpr.hrsa.gov/dsa/pages/discipln.htm. NHSC Loan Repayment Program (LRP) FY 2003 applications are now available and can be obtained by calling 800/221-9393.
