APAP Education Forum
The Education Forum will provide an excellent opportunity for discussion of today’s hot topics in education, as well as several days of educational programming specifically for PA faculty, the traditional awards banquet, and APAPs Ninth Annual Exhibition and Reception. New faculty members are particularly encouraged to attend and take advantage of APAPs orientation process and the opportunity to network with colleagues. The city of Nashville is as famous for its sights as for its sounds! It is also rich in history and the fine arts. Many important landmarks have been restored, and there are a number of museums to visit. The rolling countryside around the city contains numerous historical mansions. The Music Valley complex, Antique Toy Museum, Sidewalk of the Stars, Factory Stores of America Outlet Center, and a great selection of restaurants are all nearby. Take in a show at the Grand Ole Opry, two-step at the Wildhorse Saloon, or spy a famous performer walking on Music Row. Cheer on the professional Tennessee Titans, the Nashville Predators, or one of the other many local collegiate teams. Loews Vanderbilt Hotel embraces the rich heritage and diverse culture that surrounds it. Located at 2100 West End Avenue, the hotel is a short drive from the Nashville International Airport.
Registration and other materials will be mailed to all program faculty and staff in mid-June. For more information on Nashville and its many wonderful sights, please go to www.nashvillecvb.com. For information on the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, go to http://www.loewshotels.com/hotels/nashville/default.asp. If you have questions, please contact LaTasha Taylor, ltaylor@aapa.org. We look forward to seeing you in November!
