2003
Education Forum
October 22-26, 2003 The Education Forum will provide an excellent opportunity for discussion of today’s hot topics in education, as well as several days of educational programming specifically for PA faculty, the traditional awards banquet, and APAPs Eighth Annual Exhibition and Reception. New faculty members are particularly encouraged to attend and take advantage of APAPs orientation process and the opportunity to network with colleagues. The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa features a two-and-one-half-mile-long river meandering throughout the resort. Guests can take a scenic boat ride from just off the lobby to the Whirlwind Golf Clubhouse or to the adjacent Wild Horse Pass Casino. This destination resort includes two 18-hole, Troon-managed golf courses, a 17,000 square foot spa with 16 treatment rooms, tennis courts, jogging trails, and an equestrian center for riding lessons, trail rides, and outdoor events. Guests can be picked up along the banks of the river by stagecoaches and wagons and splash across the river to the equestrian center. Youll have many opportunities to enjoy the beautiful mountain views and stunning sunsets, and you may even get a glance of the wild horses that travel through Wild Horse Pass. The resort is located on the Gila River Indian Community Reservation, 11.5 miles from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport .
Registration and other materials will be mailed to all program faculty and staff in June. For more information on Phoenix and its many wonderful sights, please go to www.phoenixcvb.com. We look forward to seeing you in October!
